Spam in Google Analytics

The Ghost Referrer Spamis a new type of spam that affects many of us presenting names sites for adults as:

  • depositfiles-porn.ga
  • youporn-forum.ga
  • pornhub-forum.ga
  • generalporn.org
  • rapidgator-porn.ga
  • meendo-free-traffic.ga
  • amanda-porn.ga
  • torture.ml
  • pornhub-forum.uni.me
  • ouporn-forum.uni.me

These references appear in Google Analytics in order to lead us to any forum with more spam and ads.

 

How to keep clean Google Analytics?

  1. In Google Analytics  go to the administration -Details of the web site.
  2. Click in New filter
  3. PutGhost Referrer Spam as a name for the filter.
  4. InType of filter, Select Customize.  
  5. In field filter,  search for and select Source campaign.
  6. En el filter ofpattern text box, copy and paste the following regular expression.
  7. Finally click on Save.

Regular expression:

depositfiles-porn.ga|youporn-forum.ga|pornhub-forum.ga|generalporn.org|rapidgator-porn.ga|meendo-free-traffic.ga|amanda-porn.ga|torture.ml|pornhub-forum.uni.me|youporn-forum.uni.me

This will prevent future occurrences. If new domains appear you must add it to the previous regular expression.
